Its a silly idea to run the Inerlagos in the LMS - should be ALMS.

Hmm just got thinking anbout the races in Speed Merchants... Targa Florio!!!

LMS: Targa Florio instead of Monza. Maybe Pescarolo should invite Loeb again.

For us here in the states, IF the race is covered, we might not see it until Oct or Nov. Funny we see rebroud cast of the WHOLE FIA-GT seasons races in two months, Nov and Dec, after all the other races are done.

Challange is each one hour re-broad cast is very very poor. They spend 30 min on prep of each race, 12-15 on comercials and MAYBE 10-15 min of race coverage.

Heck the TV comontators spend more time on the trials and trival info about the teams and drivers then they do about the race.

It would seem that Peugeot is still planning on Interlagos (link) and I would think, depending on Silverstone, that Henri would go also since at the moment he is splitting the two 908's in points.

I wonder how much faster any of the ALMS cars would be if they went and ran non-ethanol fuel?

Really odd that VDS would be considering this, given their skipping of ALMS rounds...

Maybe, but maybe not. It sounded like VDS had day job business conflicts, which seem to be out of the way now. And with just the one Acura looking to go at the moment, the Radical could be in with a much better shot at a good class finish.

It will be really interesting to see the speed of the Acura against the Peugeot and the faster European LMP2. If only the Penske Porsche would go as well the performance balancing questions would be a lot closer to being answered.

Tony Kanaan has driven the Mil Milhas the last few years as it is in his home country. I'm sure he did quite a bit of lobbying to get AGR to go. It's a nice gesture for AGR to go and make Tony happy and it's good PR too. The PR coup will be complete if they get a good high finish and give the Pugs a run for their money!

I wouldn't hold your breath. There's the altitude factor which will play into the hands of the turbos, a long steep uphill straight from a hairpin and a point and squirt infield. I think the Pugs will run and hide. But it will hopefully be good to compare the ALMS and LMS P1 and P2 cars.

Any word on possibly entries from the JLMC? It seems like it would be a bit too pricey for the likes of Hitotsuyama. (then again, they are running a P1, GT1, and GT2 car.) Team Mugen looks somewhat hopeful, though.

I would think if you were coming all the way from Japan, you might want to include Petit Le Mans too!

I guess your right, it would just be nice for AGR to finish well.
