I would prefer the ALMS system (and FIA GT?), where with multiple car teams only the highest finish of the cars counts to the points. So even if you get 1-2-3 finish by the same team, only the winner gets points.

But LMS also has the Manufacturers' Championship...

I'm afraid this is only going to show the start, as it is shown on the actual Eurosport channel, like it did in Nurburgring. In Barca, Monza and Spa it was full race without commentary and without commercials. That was great...

The Epsilon is a great car but it needs a Repsol-Telefonica livery.

The internet's first Peugeot 909 picture is now online there, too.

They managed to break the engine, as when I popped in to see what was happening they had it in LARGE pieces, and were prepping for an engine change...

Add in the accident damage, twice. The Epsilon spanners have been busy!

I have been out with business connections, and this is the first time I see a racing photo of a 909. IT IS GORGOOOOUS

The livery looks a million times cooler and more classy than the 908´s, very visible to see the need of additional cooling as I have been expecting

Thanks mate!

Epsilon 20 was aiming for a record I suspect? 3 crashes, in the same corner, over all 3 days of a meeting...

This is Friday's effort...

This is the Saturday rebuild.

Then on Sunday, they tagged JWA's 997 Porsche GT2.

HAT TRICK!

As others have noticed, the car did race as #25 after all, thanks to an intervention by the top brass at the ACO, who agreed with RML and Lola's explanation that the car was an upgrade on the previous EX265, and not a completely new car. Points gained by finishing fourth were added to their previous total. Shame about Embassy though.

haha, they certainly sound as if they were trying to break some record, as for that chunk of front bodywork in front of whats left of the epsilon, thats on my floor about 30cm ish from me.

not sure how the drivers of the #20 managed to crash the car so much, impressive though, albeit it in the wrong way
