At least they didnt used the Diesel restrictor

I love 04s has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
-the diesels are restricted?!

As for Charouz........"mixed up" the 5.0l and 5.5l litre restrictor .....how very convenient eh! And just to spice it up...lets have some more air coming through a leak in the airbox too....!

Good race run though to 4th.... even if their quickest lap was 1.3 seconds slower than it should have been (qualy pace:race pace for Zytek as comparison)....cant imagine why!

We should wait for more confirmation on the restrictors and even then I am not sure that a full conviction of blatant cheating are in order just yet.

Apart from anything else a team that is running the wrong restrictor on purpose is very unlikely to have a purposefully leaky airbox too.

Interestingly they were faster in the race than the Zyteks, even with the change.

What is the difference in restrictor size between 5l and 5.5l? *goes to find rule book*

Zytek appeared to be the quickest petrol car judging by the live timing and from viewing it on track (pulled 30 secs back on the Pesca in the second stint).....now if they could just sort the reliability

And out of interest why did it lose so much time in hours 4 and 5 ?

Faster than the Zyteks? Shimoda set a 1.46.9 in the race, Charouz best was a 1.48.3......as for Zytek pulling back 30 secs on Pesca....thats what someone like Shimoda gives you....very very consistent pace.

The359 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I had a question about this event that I honestly can't find an answer about:

According to the official team standings for the Le Mans Series, Team Modena scored no points at the Nurburgring. Yet as far as I knew they finished second in GT1!

Were they excluded after the event? And what was it for?

I haven't been able to find any news items or information on the official LMS results as to why Team Modena scored no points. Or is this simply an LMS mistake?

Indeed, Graham is right (sorry I forgot to state that) and yet nothing is heard of the result of their appeal (unlike the FIA-GT Oschersleben similar situation)
