Sounds familiar...

Although I don't like it, I can understand it - I just wonder when the Dome will get a real upgrade to make it competitive again?
Then maybe we will see RfH in for the whole season

All in all the whole RFH business fills me with a sense of wistful regret. Over the last couple of years what was one of sportscar racing's crack outfits has entered into what feels like a long slow decline, continually looking to the following year for things to be better, but it never really coming to pass.

It's in the nature of things, and I absolutely understand (and applaud) the rationale that keeps them coming back year on year with a patchily funded programme, but it doesn't stop it all being really quite sad.

Perhaps the whole RFH issue should be split out into a separate topic?

Also with the success that Carsport Holland had at the 24 and the break in the FIA schedule that they are not back for the Spa 1000km with their C6.R.

I hope the Lucchini will be there. On the Nürburgring it was shown as well, but eventually taken off before the weekend had started.

i'll be at Spa too with a lot of friends... some of them are racing in the Radical World Cup with an SR3 and it will be probably the first ever Italian entered car there... and for sure we'll enjoy the race (hopefully no rain) which could be really good....

nice to see Lucchini back, as we reported in racingworld.it the story started a lot of time ago but finally the car seems ready to be back on track

It also now seems as if the Swiss Spirit Lola-Audi is out - apparently the team is trying to sell the car??

No we didn't - the story quotes Jean-Denis Deletraz as looking to "transfer the car to another team". That doesn';t say (and doesn't mean) that the car is to be sold.

Sorry - I didn't mean to imply that DSC says this.

I'm merely reading a little between the lines of Jean-Denis' statement purely on my own accord...

Reading between the lines and going by what has been said recently in various places, I think it could be interpreted more as "moving race operations for the car from ROC to Phoenix". J-DD's current affinity for the latter is well-documented, he insisted that the car he ran in FIA-GT this year was run by them (hence the partnership with Carsport Holland).

Jan Magnussen was stating that the #3 Corvette at Road America had a new Team Engineer. Does this mean that one of the regular Corvette Team Engineers is now assigned to Luc Alphand Adventures for the rest of the season including Spa this week? Will LAA be getting some "Factory" Assistance for Spa the rest of the season besides Gavin & Beretta for Silverstone & Brazil? I know LAA had a Corvette Team Engineer at Spa for the 24 hours.
