Those numbers are for the X number of watches they are making available to the public. A race winners watch, which is engraved on the back, will go for much, much more. That's why you might part way with yours

I remember one of the old GT Daytona cars from way back, one of the doctors who ran before the merger. Took his Daytona in for a new band and had a Rolex guy in NYC call it a fake cause he picked it up on a Sunday in Florida and no Rolex dealers are open in Sunday in central Florida.

One thing I have not been following is how much time have the AM drivers done in class. If AMs still have hours to do there may be a lot of shifting in the order as the day breaks.

Just one pro per GTE-Am car? Vette most of a lap back but back on lead lap I think, but maybe that's with pit cycles

From the ES conversation about mirrors, the self adjusting rear view and side mirrors on my truck are AMAZING. I can tell the difference with my wife's car and my city car even during the day. Self adjusting side mirrors seem a worthwhile thing for GT cars honestly

Ask my parents how I know. But didn't stop me from being a swimmer and lifeguard. Yeah, in high school I was a skinny swimmer. Not so much now but life happens and beer and pizza are tasty
