Yeah, but TOMs is running two cars, so there'll still be 6 SC430s all up

JS, do you know if TOMs is going to have one main sponsor for both cars (i.e. both Petronas), or a different one for each?

Autosport says that KeePer sponsors the 2nd Tom's car.
So it will be different livery.

Motorsport channel says that 4(!) mercedes SLS will compete in GT300 class this season.

I don't think so. The GT300s are much less in weight, if they give them a little boost in power they'll be fine. They were last year. I think the CR-Z will be a lot stronger this year, and the BRZ as well with Michelin tires!

But that only applies to major manufacturers like Honda, Toyota, and others, while small companies like Mooncraft, Vemac, and Autobacs are not since they don't have time to make a new version of their cars and therefore, retire them for good.

And besides, they don't have enough money to make cars.

JS has elaborated on the mother chassis solution for Japanese teams. That's rather inexpensive. And you could see the GT-86 Toyota this year too.

According to Autosport web,
Yuji Ide did not make an announcement of retirement.
He declared retirement from top category (ex. GT500, Super Formula).
Therefore, we may be able to see his drive in other category.

Autosport magazine reports that engineer of #1 switches positions with engineer of #23.
Therefore, there is a rumor that Yanagida/Quintarelli step up to NISMO(#23!,MI), and Motoyama/Sekigucgi go to MOLA(#1,MI).
