Jim Junior's windscreen strip
Just wondering what the reasons behind Jim's windscreen strip were.

Dudley Moore died last week - I presume he was a favourite of Jim or someone else in the team.

Dudley Moore
Every driver was wearing a black armband in respect to the Queen Mother and as you know there was a 2 minute silence on the grid, but the death of comic genius Dudley Moore went largely un-noticed.
Bearing in mind John B&Q was once a stand-up comedian, we thought a screen decal appropriate! Last edited by Cato; 3 Apr 2002 at 10:18. |

Quote from "Arthur" when Dudley is asked what it is like to be him, he replies in a drunken sort of way " I get drunk, I drive racing cars and I fondle women.....but I get weekends off...and I am my own boss!" can anyone think of a better name to have on one of our cars?!

Good to see you are taking such a keen interest in their team, and felt the need to register especially to convey your thoughts.
Well done, Spanner! |

It was a shame. Just as it was a shame Vauxhall managed to lunch an engine 3 laps into qualifying, drop a car off the jacks before putting a front tyre on and then lunch another engine 3 laps into the sprint race. Now what was that about professional teams

It's OK redshoes......I think we know who spannerman is, although if it is who I think it is, it is probably the least accurate choice of names I can think of, tool might be better!
