touringcarnut should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Race 3 is going to be quite dark by the end of the race which should make things interesting.

It definitely would help, but there's still a lot more points to be won yet.

Think I prefer the usual qualifying format. I'd much rather be watching to see who is P1 than P10.

I enjoyed the revised format, the battle for pole in the second session wasn’t impaired by backmarkers, with the top ten all having more track space available to them.
The first session to decide the top 10 was interesting to see who would make the cut.
I’d be happy for the revised format have an extended trial.

You get to see that in the 2nd session so you get two lots of tension.

Who is doing the main BTCC commentary on ITV4 this weekend, I believe Addison is in Spa for the 24h race.

How fitting that it should be at Snetterton.

Richard John Neil did qualifying, I assume he's also doing the races tomorrow. I'd guess that Paul O'Neill will take over main commentary for the support races.

I think Formula W commentator Claire Cottingham is doing the Ginetta races if not all the support races.

That will explain the night races from 1979 and 1999-2001. We won't be able to see the cars for the headlights by the end of the event.

The new qualifying format added nothing to the event for me, but I've always found knockout qualifying a waste of time in every series that uses it. Just have a straight session.

Should be interesting seeing how the races play out tomorrow with the temperature being so much lower than usual.

New qualifying was fun to watch, although I’m not sure if it is an improvement of what we already have

Great lap by Colin, Jake Hill oh so close. Sutton did well to get into the top ten after earlier problems, good to see Moffat up there too. Setting up nicely with the top 5 drivers in the championship all in the top 10.

Another good qually from OJ, his confidence seems really high since he got that win at Silverstone

my bet is the FWD cars will try to pass Turkington on the first lap as he will struggle with tire temp but if he survives 2 laps he may win it

The way the TV talks about female drivers is just a tad condescending. "Good for her!" Cringe.

Yep, no mention of Rivett this race who is in front of her...

Realising just how good a job Addison does, this race feels so strange without him.
