Euro Gt Is Quite Good

5 vipers 3 porsche GT2's and 2 Marcosses. That makes 10 GT2's alongside the GT3's quite a good field aye and exciting aswell,

Maybe it's just as well Mr. Hezemans didn't bring his GT1 Elise, it could have been an expensive afternoon.

Hezemans does NOT own that Elise, he wouldn't have run it. It's the property of Hans Willem Te Pas of Carsport Holland, Duncan huisman was in frame to drive it but the car weighs around 900 kg,s about 200 under the limit. so that didn't happen! I know this because we were going to run it! And thank god we aren't there, damage wise........

Is it the "reverted" Bitter chassis?

Having had a look at the EuroGT regulations, the minimum weight for Class A is actually 1150kg; I hadn't known that. How come then that the organiser himself announced the Elise would be there, doesn't he know his own rules either?

i think he (the organiser) wanted the Elise to race, probably on a non-pointscoring basis. The trouble was that they couldn't figure out a suitable restrictor size for the car. strange i know! The car itself is the completely rebuild factory chassis that completely burned out at the Zeltweg http://www.racingsportscars.com/phot...-08-03-014.jpg

The cars owner thought it right not to enter it considering who are in the series, no offense, but if you want to sell you very precious car, it is not right to mix it with Euser, Van Der Zwaan, Roos and David Hart, besides the car was to be driven by a touringcar ace. TOURING CAR ACE! we all saw damage as the natural result. And as we all saw this weekend Thank God we didn;t enter.
