Definately something wrong with Peugeot #8, it's now 4 laps behind.

The no 16 pescarola is having a really long 2nd stint - how much further can it go before it pits - and I thought it was the diesels that were meant to be economical!

Have to say the slight delay on the commentators-audio compared to the videofeed on MotorsTV is a tad annoying.

I don't mind that myself - I'm just happy to watch my first live LMS broadcast with English commentary after having to sit through the agony of listening to Swedish or Danish during last year...

To say the least!
Let's hope the crewmember still in hospital with rather severe burns makes a full & speedy recovery. |

More problems for the #85 Spyker, pulling off the track and going behind the barrier to retire.

Another podium...
For those of you who doubt my team, Binnie Motorsports... The amazing Billy B just pushed away from his busy desk a mere few days ago to go out for a podium right off...and he's just on vacation...
Thanks to those of you who wrote in support. Now I'm off to tour the Amalfie by BMW...ciao! Wee happy girl |

The Pugs are truly the class of the LMP1 field. Not even the lead Pesca and the Charouz Lola seem to be able to match them on pace. And if, as competitors report, the advantage is in braking and mid-corner downforce rather than slipperiness on the straights thanks to the coupe shape, then it's not liable to get more competitive once Monza's straights are traded for Valencia's twistiness. Unless one of Creation, Zytek or Swiss Spirit pull a magical cat out of the bag, Peugeot may be the new Pesca.
LMP2 is a disgrace. Congrats to Horag for not falling apart, and to RML for falling apart a semi-respectable amount. For the 3rd place finisher (Binnie) to finish behind 8 GT2 cars is quite lame. Welcome back to the bad old days indeed. GT1 would be a great scrap if it wasn't a little rough around the edges...this class should improve leaps and bounds over the season. GT2 is a great battle indeed - too bad there's only 1 strong Porsche and that it had problems. A Ferrari walkover belies the strength of the battle, but having 3 top Prancing Horses is a real bonus. |
