Rookie of the Year class

This season has seen a burgeoning rookie field take to the track in different teams.

Scott Dixon currently leads the Jim Trueman Rookie of the Year race with a win. He is trailed by Bruno Junqueira, Max Wilson and Tora Takagi. Both Dixon and Junqueira have been near the front of more than a few races this season and Max Wilson is looking good in a very new team with older equipment. Takagi is showing the inconsistent form he displayed in F1 but could get it all together in short order.

I think we are seeing one of the best rookie fields in recent CART history, quite possibly since Al Unser Jr. and Michael Andretti started racing.

agreed..this years rookies are very good..Scott Dixon is the best of the bunch i would say but i have been impressed with Junqueria and the last 2 races Max wilson has performed very well..Takagi unfortunately hasnt lived up to the expectations ..i would have thought he could have done better by now ..but you never know he may turn things around or he may just get worse as he did in F1.

I hope and think Scott dixon will win the rookie of the year honours though.

I think it would be great to see Scott win it.
It just does me good to see guys come up from
the feeder series to become winners in the big league.
