Slayer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sports 1000 at Mallory last Sunday

Does anyone know why the Sports 1000 class didn't run at the 750MC meeting at Mallory on the 14th March? Were there just not enough entries?

The first round for SPT1's is Snet. I think they are expecting 15 odd cars I'm guessing the ADR's making up the Bulk, with a Scholar (2?) and the Fandango... I don't think the Phoenix will ever surface.

Thanks for the update

What a shame the 750MC or Mallory Park couldn't update their websites to let people know that Snetterton would be the first round. It still says on there that Sports 1000 would be at Mallory.

Oh well, it wasn't a wasted trip. The stock hatch and locost racing was certainly fun enough to keep me interested

THat F Junior race was a bit intense for such valuable machinery at times

It definitely was! I thought those guys would be taking it easy bearing in mind what they were driving but they really went for it. Admirable stuff

You were right first time. Not enough entries by the time the finals were prepared.

Oh - that's a shame. Let's hope enough can be got together for Snetterton. I think this formula can have a strong future with a bit of variety.

Good to see that the cars, which were built for racing, were being raced.

I hate to see racing cars in museums. If Enzo had meant for his cars to be in Museums, he would have delivered them in glass cases with no engines!

If it screams, thrash it. If it doesn't - thrash it until it does!

Rob.
