Worrying if true, because it surely would ultimately signify the death knell of all motorsport in this country not just the grassroots stuff. Is that how you see it? If so, what do you suggest we do about it? Or am I missing a wind up, here?

I think you are writing about Belgian racing Sam, now THAT is ineptly run. And it died a long time ago.
In this country there is NO clubsport left, no chance to run a Vee here or a FF or ....
Believe me, British racing isn't that bad.
But I guess I'm biased.

As you can see, I live at Mallory Park, every Thursday in the Hinckley Times, the circuit lets us know what's on that weekend, be it cars, bikes or as today a rally. They normally have at least 3 pages of pictures & reports every week of the previous weekends action.
