could be good, and if its anything like the turbo technics twin snail 24v it will fly.

got to make do with only one snail myself, although it will be a nice big hybrid one.

Davids always been a fan of Kershaws car... you couldnt keep him away from it at Silverstone when it was at the same round of the TRC .. you know that round that lost the timing for the race and the sprints for some reason

yeah i remember the one, but more so for my conversation with geoff kershaw as i talked myself into binning the hybrid that TT built less than a year ago in favour of an even bigger more expensive version!

sort of, after building a new bigger engine with lots more valves and fitting a bigger intercooler i couldn't stop myself once geoff said they could build me something to give near T4 power but without the lag of one, it had to be done

Narh, i've always had a soft spot for escorts,

infact i've got one myself a mk2 RS2000, in the usual escort spec,

lowered, billies, 45's, cam, janspeed, minilites, 2.8 vented discs, anti dive, lsd, oh and a genuine rocket box, meaning 1st gear goes forever, and the next 3 gears last about 2 secs each.

the only problem with it is the beemer makes it feel like a snail!

So Graham, we are in next year for more (last lap, last second ) overtakings then with the extra power. Still love that moment.

hope so, i wasn't expecting too much this year, having thrown the car together in a real hurry AND having to both learn to drive a powerfull turbo car as well as finding a suspension set up for it, although still rwd the turbo necesitates a very different set up to the atmo cars i was used to.

i was happy with the results as the season went on and feel i proved the concept, so its now time to get serious, i've already sent the suspension off to leda to get them to valve it to suit the spring rates i settled on, that should help as i was running normal roadgoing shocks!

Couple of nice write ups in TRC magazine this month... the race at Brand's and "go racing in Class 'E' "

And Craig inskip going backwards across the line at Donington in April
and another pic of Craig Inskip running himself over in the "highs and lows of 2005"

Must get the video of that unfortunate event, one of our helpers that day got most of it on film..

Well the pictures are all of the current class D cars, which will be in class E next year (except Phil Usher who has fitted a 2 litre engine). Earlier in the mag you can see Luke Wood's triumph at Brands and a certain "falcemob" in a blue Fiesta gets in the picture not once but twice!! Incidentally you don't have to join BARC fully to do the TRC championship, you only need to be a centre member (£45 instead of £95) or a member of any other club.

The video of the Craig Inskip incident is currently on loan to the Oval Racing Council, they wanted to see how NOT to try and stop a runaway car!!

......and if a certain Mr Eric Falce hadn't been sunning himself in the south of France the victory at Brands would have been ours as being on my own I totally ****ed the pit stop up. Craig and Luke beat me by about 5 or 6 seconds and my stop was 15 seconds longer that theirs.

Still, at least Peter Falce had a good race.

They refer to D & E as being for more "Group N" cars. Wasn't the only GrpN car in Class C?

Still, driver of the month - Bill Richards (page 6)
