scary...

the weather doesn't look promising for sunday so it could be one of those wet/dry ones. just the sort of thing to throw a random winner in. if there is such a thing in the world series this year!

The Ultimate domination continues. Fabio Carbone was fastest in the pre-Super Pole qualifying session by a fraction from Giedo van der Garde, but this is how the Super Pole grid looks, with Esteban Guerrieri on pole:
Code:
Pos Driver Team Time
 1. E.Guerrieri Ultimate Signature 1:25.124
 2. G.van der Garde P1 Motorsport 1:25.309 + 0.185
 3. Mikhail Aleshin Carlin Motorsport 1:25.413 + 0.289
 4. Fabio Carbone Ultimate Signature 1:25.432 + 0.308
 5. Robert Wickens Carlin Motorsport 1:25.581 + 0.457
 6. Charles Pic Tech 1 Racing 1:25.707 + 0.583
 7. James Walker Fortec Motorsport 1:25.710 + 0.586
 8. Miguel Molina Prema Powerteam 1:25.737 + 0.613
 9. Alvaro Barba Prema Powerteam 1:25.887 + 0.763
10. Marco Barba Draco Racing 1:25.926 + 0.802
11. A.Marsoin Epsilon Euskadi 1:26.024 + 0.900
12. Pablo Sanchez Interwetten.com 1:26.113 + 0.989
There is the usual reverse grid for today's race with Miguel Molina on pole for that.

Report here and results below. Sounds like Guerrieri lost the race off the line, which is not like him at all. Maybe starting from pole was all too much for him.

No he doesn't (by my calculations), he needs 9 more.
He has a 131 and Carbone 78, and there's still a maximum of 62 points available.

This is all just theory though, Carbone's best weekend so far (Hungary)
earned him 27 points. He would need two such weekends in a row, without
van der Garde scoring any points at all.

Your quite right F-lot .... I missed the phrase "all but" wraps

I would love to see a late charge from Carbone, but then again I would love to win the lottery !
