Hi, folks.
Hmmmmm... looking at the scoring, and look who's in 5th. Why, it's the Lola-Judd of Intersport Racing. I'd bet John Judd Sr. is pleased as pie with this... |

bloody live timing's gone to pot again. I want to know how far behind Pescarolo is!
edit- seems ok now. Pescarolo 1m8 behind so must have pitted for tyres and fuel. Last edited by pirenzo; 9 Nov 2003 at 12:23. |

The R&S seems to be in trouble as well. 23 laps only.

hmm.
RFH have really faded haven't they? They were doing well up in second at the start. I'm not sure what's happened to Pescarolo either, they've pitted i think, but they're just falling further back now. |

Lister must have fixed their problem, i'll keep an eye on their times. Gap to Audi for Pescarolo is now 21 seconds so they've lost quite a bit, even after pit stops.

well, this time, they used the fia gearbox. that gearbox problem was fixed in september. it seems like they are back out on the track. last time they lost a gearbox was 24hrs of spa. (6hrs in the race)

Pescarolo losing 3 seconds a lap! They've stopped their charge i think. No point risking that 2nd place finish i guess.
I'm off to watch the Rally now, so catch up with you guys later. |

wel, since the Lister is using a Chevy 6L V8, it's the torque levels that are probably putting the gearbox through hell. Wouldn't be surprised if one looks at the one that was removed and the lubrication resembles black applesauce, with all the metal shavings floating about.

true...
well, looks like a great scrap between the Intersport Lola-Judd & the Courage C65-JPX. In these conditions, the two are really playing it up, and with the C65 looking racy Yves might have a seller here. |

A resumé of the first hour is up on lemans.org! It seems it was a broken drive shaft that caused the trouble in the Lister.
