egor should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Le Mans on ITV
I watched the grand prix from Monaco yesterday - not bad for a change I only fell asleep once, and James Martin (I think) said that you can catch the Le Mans 24hrs on ITV.

Is this correct are we getting Le Mans back on normal tv?
Will they actually cover the race as it happens or just put out a highlites show?

Well it can't have been James Martin as he is a chef! I think you meant James Allen or Martin Brundle.

As for ITV showing Le Mans I can't find any news of that on their website yet.

i think lenny kravitz said it to mcnish...and i'm guessing he meant the little snippets they show on "speed sunday".

It was James Allen, I thought James Martin looked strange after I wrote it and it was after they had talked to Allen McNish that James mentioned it.

Ah, I didn't see that bit so can't comfirm what he said.

However that nice Mr Hindhaugh has hinted before that a UK terestrial tv company were looking at doing some coverage so it could happen!

Le Mans Live on ITV?
On the Motors TV forum, a poster says the Le Mans start and finish is live on ITV!

With the Speed Sunday program, I suppose its not out of the question.

Alan McNish is on Speed Sunday on June 6th btw.

is the start on live...i thought the show started at 1.30am on the sunday morning after highlights of the canadian gp qualifying, then from 1.30pm on sunday.

i might be wrong...i was in shock from hearing and seeing this on screen!

Listening to Virgin radio in the UK I was staggered to here an ad for le mans and radio le mans.

More good publicity.

I thought it was 1.30 pm on Saturday aswell :confused: :confused: which seemed a bit early although that will be 2.30 local time.

Presume its only in France or can we get it in UK and if so what is frequency. What is frequency as I get most French Long/Medium wave stations anyway....

Radio Le Mans is on 91.2 FM in Le Mans(local area) only and on the web as far as I am aware.
Motors TV are also covering the race.

Now that is good news. There coverage sounds along the same lines as what Channel 4 did in 2001. Must remember to leave instrustions for the olds to set video while I'm over in France
