Ray Bellm returns?
Ray Bellm, the 1996 BPR Global Endurance Champion is considering a return to the FIA GT Championship with a factory Ferrari 550 Maranello. The 51-year-old says he wants to get back into the cockpit before his 55th birthday, and sent GTC team owner Michael Cane to the sixth round of the FIA series in Hungary "on a fact finding mission". Cane was seen talking to Prodrive about its own version of the 550 Maranello, though Bellm might wait for Ferrari's official car. It is understood that Ferrari's F1 team boss Jean Todt has given his factory the go-ahead to build the car for the 2002 season.
How cool is that? |

Good to see Ferrari back in GT! There is going to be alot of competition for Ferrai with two Raffinelli cars the Prodrive car too andthe other 550 in the FIA GT so that will be six 550 Marenellos next year in just one year of racing! Impressive!
