Lowndes-new Norton Ambassador

Flicking though my local sunday paper I see a big colour advertisement for Norton Internet Security, Anti Virus etc..

Craig Lowndes is now the new Norton Internet Safety Ambassador for Norton by Symantec.

From the Nortons Website..

Craig doesnt suit yellow.. keep the Team Vodafone suit I say!

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I have seen a picture of Craig's helmet in the last couple of days with a Norton logo on it, but can not remember were.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
If only he was the poster boy for AVG or Nod32 security (For those that are unaware, these are worthwhile solutions).
Does this mean Norton will now make an appearance on the Tripe8 race livery?

Craig is now also the "Official" ambassador for Caltex oils.

The slogan is "Craig Lowndes - V8 Supercar Champion" - Interesting that he won all 3 with Mobil oils.....

I imagine that Caltex will soon take advantage of their new found supply of the V8's. "Vortex 98 - The fuel that Garth chooses".

Craig Craig Craig ....

is this a good move for you?? In my experience Nortons slows your system down - are you prepared to take that chance in such a closely matched category??

When you start being as astute as Craig has been in business, then you can start offering advice.

Well said billy, the sport needs personalities readily recognised beyond the confines of motor sport & Craig is carrying the can ... good lad ... who is Craigs manager?

Craig's business acumen aside, for those familiar with the Norton's product, it seems a bit strange to be equating speed and performance with a computer product that's widely recognised as a resource hungry and system slow-down application.

Still, if it earns Craig a few extra bux, who cares?

I hope they start paying for therapy for anyone who comes within a metre of you PVDA!!!

Very much doubt Craig will be getting around in a yellow race suit. Thou the yellow will stand out from the red and silver on the T8 machines.

Not that the 06 Bathurst winner is original any more as parts of it are used on a currently-raced Supercar
