Channel 10 to use ITV commentary for the remainder of the season
Good news on the official RPM Message Boards today as Channel 10 have confirmed we will be getting the ITV commentary feed for the rest of the F1 season.
This is great news and after the 1st GP of the year I am now even looking forward to the next race ! |

I'm not surprised by this really. The Ten boys rarely do any of their own commentary, except on the MotoGP, although I haven't watched that on 10 for a while now, so that might have changed now...

I have to admit after the appaling commentary Ten have forced us to endure for the Champ Cars I was seriously worried they were going to double shaft us on F1 as well.

Neil Crompton is not usually that bad but maybe having Bill Woods in the box with him rubbed off a little or something because at times on the weekend it was like they were watching another race!

Definately. Someone get a hold of ITV and pay one man some cash to get the frog out of there, and the other some more to come do a good job.

Actually, this morning i was watching the race again on tape, with 10 Commentary, then i saw some clips, with ITV. I have to say, i liked what 10, or better that, Crompton had to say. Allen at the start of the race, just sounded so annoying........oh look at that.....oh.oh, wow, panis...coulthard there....trulli, bit chaotic........
MS against Kimi, "He's lost engine power" And when other things happened, like MS's bargeboards, Brundle sounded like an idiot, "Looks like a mechano set which hasnt been put together properly, bits falling off it left, right and centre." and he said it too slowly too. Hope Sepang and the rest is better. I wouldnt have expected them to do V8's and F1 at the same time, (Malaysia/CLIPSAL 500 | Japan/Bathurst) you could imagine Cromley running from one studio to the other. Maybe Cromley and Walker would be my dream two commentators |

Thank heavens Channel 10 will be using ITV for commentary. There would be no way I could handle Cromley's continual dribble for the rest of the season.
Bring on James Allen!......gee, what has the world come to!!?? |

James Allen..i dont think getting the ITV commentry would be that great, Brundle does know what he's on about but Allen hasn't got a clue, i think he's just trying to make more stupid comments the Murray, 'from James Allen...and Shcumackers crossed the yellow line, oh wait, he hasn't...' look forward to that.
