I thought the KSM chassis was shot ta bits ? Both drivers seem very positive about it .

Below is the article taken from End-Info .

http://www.endurance-info.com/static...dex.txt&npds=1

The colors dont look very good in pics , but having seen the livery at Le Mans , it does indeed look good , especially with the black wheels .

Aslak Vind should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
These guys havent tried the car when it was in its prime. Furthermore I am quite surem that they have changed the monocoque.

Just thinking about the rumoured Dome/Goh project .

Didnt Audi say that the R8 engine is available ..... and considering that Goh has a rather large friendship with Audi ..... whats the chances we might see the R8 turbo FSI engine in a Dome S102 ?

It would be one hell of an engine and probably the most advanced "petrol" out there . Gotta be better that the best of the rest which happens to be a Judd . The Judd still doesnt have FSI for example .

Just a thought is all .

What do you think Toyota would think of Dome, if they plotted an Audi engine in the car Toyota has paid the development of?

Furthermore, Audi pulled the plug on the Lola Audi project.

Im not surprised that Audi pulled the plug on the Lola deal ..... it wasnt happening with all the disagreements that were going on , and possibily leading to bad publicity .

Dome .... can they sell the car to teams on a customer basis , or is there a stipulation that it only comes with a Judd ?

How would Toyota feel if Dome tried to sell the car to customers "if" Toyota paid for the development ..... then it will never happen either .

Are we completely sure that it has been financed by Toyota ?

I have heard this before , but nothing concrete either .

With the pace that the Charouz Lola has shown and the forthcoming restrictions aimed at the diesel P-1's, I do not see Audi handing out petrol engines. The only reason that they let one loose in the first place was to make a point about the gap (or lack of) between the petrol and diesel P-1's when run at the top level. That is no longer necessary, and now all that could happen is bad for Audi with a petrol engine out there. Either it does not perform, and they look bad or it does perform well and shows up the diesel program. So IMO at thia time it is a losing proposition to supply a petrol engine to anyone.

It would be like a turkey voting for Christmas and then saying, "Hey, this Thanksgiving...what a great idea guys!"

(In other news, a recent survey of cows suggest 9 out of 10 believe a Sunday lunch is better with Yorkshire puddings, and 85% of lambs prefer mint sauce to other condiments.)

Not gonna happen.

It does not take a lot of time to study the Audi marketing to suggest, that this is not going to happen..

I'm anticipating this link:

http://www.corvettemotorsport.com/media.htm

to be up to it's usual standard for live streaming. No commentary, just track side sound. Perfect for using RLM commentary.

There is an MMS link to it as well, I post it when I have it.....

Hope you all enjoy the race!

home turf advantage maybe?

if it comes to handling though, which i believe the 'ring is a handling circuit then peugeot will run circles around audi, then again they have done that at every race this year bar lemans which wa more down to bad luck and the weather on peugeot's part.

Right, I forgot about that. Its a shame Audi doesn't do more to promote it in their home country considering the promotion they do for their involvment in DTM.
