(In his defence, Manning punted Vasser into Fernandez)

The gap remains the same at the top, and Maple City Racing is revelling after Toronto. Not so much because of the results, but for the Canadian lager! We oughtta race in Canada more often! I loved how, when you ordered a beer, they gave you a Bubba with a straw!

Well, to be honest, only our drivers made it to the race this year. The team principals were at home rolling pennies.

At least we got the Stones to look forward to...

Daisy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Team Champcar saw all drivers finishing in the points but, was not totally satisfied with the result. "Before the weekend, we would have signed for 3 drivers in the points, but after the race, we think their was more possible. Ryan started only 14th and was involved in an early crashed, so he had to come back for the end of the field. Bruno started the weekend well, but couldn't improve in the race. Finally, I'm happy with the result from Sebastien, he drove a good race." The next race is also in Canada, in Vancouver. "We hope that we can battle again at the front, but this time with all the 3 cars.

Laagri should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The 42 Tulips Racing management have been away from the scene for a while, sitting over here in the deepest darkest depths where even the useless coverage of Eurosport doesn't reach, but we're heartened to see that we're in 13th place in the overall standings. So thanks to our team drivers (Darren Manning - #42 Marmite Lola Ford, Paul Tracy - #43 Terry's Plain Chocolate Orange Lola Ford, and Sebastien Bourdais - #88 Trebor's Extra Strong Mints Lola Ford) for keeping going in our absence. Maybe we should continue to stay away if the results carry on going like this.

The 42 Tulips Racing team management,
wondering if we'll ever again get to see a ChampCar race on TV

The Mrs. Fields Pies Crayola Guys In Front Have A Decent Race for Once

TGIF are pleased with all their drivers this weekend after Bruno and Sebastien both pulled up their sox and got to the front(ish) of the pack, and the lovely and talented Tiago Monteiro continued to make the best of an absolute slug of a car and not hit anybody or get hit and still got some points. We appreciate Bruno's discovery of a sense of humour, as well as his figure on a motorcycle; we are happy that Sebastien didn't hit anybody or anything and only whined a little bit; and Tiago because he is doing a good job and let's face it, he's a babe.

Finally, having now been privy to some footage concerning the kerfuffle at Turn 3 that we had not been shown previously, we absolve Mr. Vasser of all responsibility for that particular crash, but we still think he owes Mr. Dominguez an apology and we think he should give Mikey back his glasses and go get some of his own.

We will see you in Vancouver when we hope Bruno will finally win, but we kind of expect it'll be another Blue Car Weekend.
