The Aston was very nice. But Damon needs to find some scissors. Quickly.

I'm beginnig to think the Stig is female. Even with the new generation of anorexic racing drivers, the Stigs is built pretty small. And that skid-lid is tiny as well. Great recovery in the Aston though - I had visions of the car being brought back into the studio with a substantially redesigned rear end.

I can't see the stig being female because simply they had to move heaven and earth to get Clarkson back, I doubt him being willing to allow the new generation of polliticallly correct race chic on his show. I don't think that there is a female driver with a big enough name, and enough experiance to attract the BBC to take on.

Minassian is a fairly small, less than average build bloke, HE IS LINKED TO TOP GEAR.

If it is a female it could be Amanda Whitaker, she is an ARDS "A" instructor and does a lot of work for various manufacturers. Having raced against her I can say she is a very competant driver.

It cant be anybody well known or big, if it was they would want to show their faces to get the sponsorship, or they wouldnt agree to dress up as Darth Vaders love child, and obviously would not get paid as much.
They are hyping Stig's performance a bit. The average person wouldn't care if it was someone lesser known, and would not beleive that they would be fast.

I have to agree tho that it looks like a woman.

I think it could be Robert Huff for reasons I will not explain. (But its nothing to do with looking like a woman before someone thinks that. and just to clarify, he does not look like a woman.)

Still not convinced it's one driver, there would be more build up if they were planning a grand unveiling of the Stig at some point in the future.

Different driver every week I reckon.

Maybe it's just a complete no-one and they just want people talking about Top Gear.

It's worked.

Craig saying they can't drive is ridiculous! Whoever it is is quicker than Ross Kemp and Harry Enfield.

I'll go with Minassian. In the back of Top Gear mag they had a small feature on the Stig. They said the only clues they could give were,

He is French
He is a professional racing driver.
