Cadwell Park, photography spots
Might go up there on Monday, although it's a fair trek, so it depends how Sunday is, as my mate is racing his bike.
I was wondering what the place is like for the photographer, from the spectator areas. Is there a wide variety of views? how much of the circuit can you get too etc.? Cheers for any advice. |

I was there a few years ago, and the spectator area's are quite close to the track along the start / finish straight and the bottom and top of the hill if I remember well.

Hi Theres tons of places to get good snaps.Look at a circuit map and try Hall bends just a small walk from the bar,or anywhere on the inside of the mountain. The inside of Mansfield, and if you have a long lens go to the outside of Charlies 2. From there you can see lots of the track including the start and cars coming thru the gooseneck.....

Its a great place - you can get very close to the track, my favourite spot is the bottom of the mountain but most parts are very accessible. You wont be dissappointed!

Nice pics, especially number 1.
I was there on Monday and there was some great racing despite the weather - heavy rain, hail, bright sunshine and a mini tornado near the hairpin! |

I would like to see a pic too, didn't see it myself but I understand one of the marshals snapped it.

I'll be there shooting a VSCC meeting on the day of the British GP. Lovely circuit and whatever the weather a far better way to spend a day than watching/photographing F1.
