TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Your wish for 2010

Ok with 2009 coming to a end, what is your wish for the 2010 season of Motorsport.

V8 James Courtney to win the 2010 Championship
and Mark Winterbottom to win Bathurst, both T888 cars to do nothing. Would like Will to do good in 2010.
F1 Mark Webber to win more races, and Schu to win a few as well.
V8 Fujitsu James Moffat to win the title.

I'm with you TSR......I'll adopt that wish list as well and add no serious injuries to any drivers.

TSR, im not arguing with your sentiment (although prehaps i could change the drivers)

But can i add that James Moffat gets signed by FPR as a full time driver

A HSV to enter the Bathurst 12 Hour.
Lewis Hamilton to regain the F1 World Championship.
Holdsworth or Caruso to win GRM's 1st V8 Championship and/or 2nd Bathurst.

Also, plans to conduct a GT race or 24-Hour race at Mount Panorama again - now that would be sweet!!!

Shelby GT500 for the 12H title.

James Moffet fulltime V8DS Ride & Victory.
Anyone but Lewis Hamilton or Felipe Massa for the F1 Drivers title.
Kimi Raikkonen to win multiple rally stages, and a few round top 3's.

Good quality head-to-head racing in all categories.
Getting more to watch and appreciate Superkarts.
Good health to all so that they may see and attend the racing.

Build a Circuit

TC and the whole business he manages to put their collective hands in their own pockets and build a circuit somewhere. That way he can stop criticising other circuits and promoters as he won't need to use them and he can also demonstrate the exact standard he requires of circuit owners. NASCAR did this in the early days and it has paid off handsomely for them. But I guess the last thing they would do would be invest in their own business, that would be too silly wouldn't it?

I was going to say that the (any) new circuits suit the cars, but that would trump my suggestion in a big way!

Not holding my breath!

my 2010 wishlist.

-Will Davison for the championship.
-DJR to bag a Bathurst.
-SBR to return to the winners circle with 'The Giz'.
-Ambrose to win on a super speedway.
-More wins for Webber.
-Vettel to contract a mystery illness that sidelines him prior to R1. Which see's reserve driver Daniel Ricciardo filling Vettel's shoes.
-IndyCars and Gold Coast to kiss and make up.
-DTM to fill the void on the Gold Coast if no kiss.
-Aust GT to drop it's dumb pro driver rule.
-John Bowe to return to Aust GT after dumb rule dropped.
-A few more makes to enter Aust GT. Ford GT, Morgan.
-Vic govenment to commit to a drag strip for Melbourne.
-More young Aussie drivers leaving our shores for fame and fortune overseas.

And One HD to improve on their already fantastic motorsport coverage.
Imagine The Le Mans 24 hour in full, live.

My 2010 wishlist.

People to realise once and for all about our single make/different head lighted category.
An Old timer to show up the young talent (Murph or Ingall, either will do)
All 3 DJR cars to be competitive.
S Richards to be given the boot mid season

My 2010 wishlist:

F1 - more victories for Webber, Schuey to show some of these young guys how to race, new teams less than 3sec off the pace
V8 - Tander, Leethal and Caruso to clean up
Indy - Power and Briscoe to lead a 1-2 championship assault
AusGT - series to grow from strength to strength (more cars, more makes)
Event - get indy back to the GC, or FIA GT3 round on the coast
Nascar - Ambrose to greet victory lane
MotoGP - Stoner back on top (more entries on the grid)
WSBK - Vermuelen, Pitt & Corser to flood the podium

I think that is everything

Ross Palmer decides he needs one more go at Running a Bathurst 24Hr race.

If I had too much money, i'd put the race on just to see that magic again.

It wont happen, but I would like to see the enduros removed as championship rounds.

Rugby League has State of Origin mid season which doesn't contribute to the premiership proper in any way. EPL has various additional cups mid season.

V8's could surely do this - just let all the teams have a good rip at it, without the championship points situation in the back of their minds.

Also, less street circuits. They are easy come, easy go. Easy come maybe an interesting way to put it, as there is still serious investment required to get them up and running. Put that same investment into a permanent circuit. Then the whingers and d1ckheads (read Canberra Public Servants) can't complain about interupting their precious easy drive to work for a few days a year...

As far as results,
  • Our DNF Maestro, M. Webber, to give the championship a good crack.
  • Casey Stoner to regain the championship, now he has apparantly cured his fatigue problem.
  • Chris Vermeulen to show it to the Suzuki team that he was a big loss.
  • Marcos Ambrose to win a round or two in Nascar. An oval track would be great.
  • Someone else other than Sebastien Loeb to win the WRC.
  • Holden to win the enduros and the championship. It would be nice to see GRM achieve something, and PMM. But any will do!
  • If a Ford team wins something, it would be good if it were DJR.
