yes,the thread title IS a bit missleading! No,not a new circuit in New Mexico,but a modified version of OLD Mexico City autodrome(los Hernnos Rodriguez).

The final layout of the track has not been announced yet, although some pointers can be found here:

This is the configuration that was recently sent to the Mexico City Government officials for final approval
http://www.cartpages.com/MexicoCity.jpg There is only one change now planned for the circuit, that being a chicane to slow the cars going into the famous peraltada curve. The track was 2.763 miles before the addition of the chicane. The new estimated track length is 2.85 miles. Although the track does not have a website, The site for the event is http://www.tecatetelmexgrandprix.com/gpm_index.htm Much of this site is listed as "Coming Soon" but this would be the place to watch for information.
