Just read the peace about TVR over on DSC - sounds like it going to be a busy year for them

What spec are the TVRs in British GT.

Are they eligible to race in LMES events (Silverstone) if they wanted too.

Jag, To the best of my knowladge none of the TVR's that raced in the British Championship last year, with the expection of the De-Welt car's, were ACO spec.

I understand that the Peninulsa has been update over the winter to ACO spec. As for seeing the teams running the cars in the LMES race, I can not really see that happening as there is a British GT round also at Silverstone that weekend.

The Brit GT cars would have needed work to get to ACO spec - the De walt cars were built to that spec from new.

Are we any closer to knowing the identity of the Care racing team that will race in the LMES.

Nice to see Scalextric making good use of their link with Lister- With the amount of current LMP & GT cars being made by various slot car amnufacturers now, I'm going to have to invest in a Scalextric set before long.....

More news of Nasamax on DSC as well- Given the amount of discussion in several threads recently of the feasibility of converting existing LMPs to the new 2004 regs, it's interesting that they'll be doing just that- sounds like they're in for a lot of work- front end, footbox, bodywork and rollhoop changes, new underbody, new rear wing, new transmission and rear suspension changes etc- in fact, according to John McNeil, so much that when they've finished 'the car effectively won't be a Reynard any more' and may be renamed.

The other interesting part is that like Pescarolo, they're going the 5-litre Judd route

No, they're solid on that : never more than 5 or 6 races, if LMES is a success.

Norma is held by Norbert Santos ; the car will be entered by a "partner team", but they don't say which one. Sezio seems not involved any more.

Exact ! Sezio is not involved in this entry and probably won't be involved in the next future in LMES or ALMS. But Edouard Sezionale himself keeps its financial and business involvements in Norma.
He is now focused in the M20 development and will perhaps drive one of the two M20 entered in the 2004 VdeV-FFSA championship.

Think Jota's Zytek will be LMP1- it's the same chassis design as Creation's ex-Nielsen DBA (will this keep the name or run as a Zytek as well?), and I think someone established in another thread a while back that it can't be made LMP2-legal easily, if at all

You can add K2 Engineering who were reported on DSC a week or so back as entering a Pilbeam- it will be V8-powered, either Judd or Zytek (can't remember which without looking it up on DSC)

I'm looking forward to how Team Nasamax are going to do this year. They will have to make quite a few changes to an old car but under the new rules, who knows, it might be right there. I will be disapointed if it all goes belly up.

There will only be one rollcentre dallara (to start with at least and One Pescarolo Courage. The TVR entry is Synergy Motorsports and is not a works entry - PK are unlikely to run in LMES, Scuderia ecosse is 1 or 2 360 GTCs and no 575 (until 2005), the GT Corvette is Embassy racing and not Xero, dave price looks unlikely to race the 550s, The Goddard entry is 1 0r two Reynards, chamberlain is involved with the TVR effort and is unlikely to run an MG lola, 2 Durangos??!!

Well this is only for Sebring, but could also be for the LMES. Crash.net is reporting that Rollcentre has only entered one Dallara for Sebring.

Yes, and also two 575´s in FIA GT, later two 360 GTC with ex-F1 drivers,....... but trust me, trust zero in this project.

To repeat - Rollcentre's pln is to enter one Dallara at sebring and the LMES - any second car entry would be subject to funding.

Any idea as to what colours the Dallara will be run in. Its my favourite Prototype after the Lola B2K/10 and can't wait to see it!
