Cadete should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Yes, the Portuguese AutoSport also confirms Lamy with Larbre, at least for Monza.

K2 Racing uses the Judd KV675 engine in their Pilbeam. I don't know much about their history but did they race with a AER engine in the past?

It is reported in today's Motorsport News that Johnny Herbert has taken over Guy Smith's seat at Audi UK for the LMES. He will share a car with Darren Turner.

Wouldn't Herbert and Smith be a better combo for the LMES? Wonder what happened there.

A little more on this. I found an article on Yahoo. Here's the link:

http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/040428/4/3iix.html

I can understand wanting to use Herbert for his experience in an Audi R8, which was the reasoning of the team. But why use Turner? Surely Guy Smith has more prototpe experience with stints in an R8 in 2000 and his Bentley drives in 2003.

From what I have just seen on DSC it sounds like Guy Smith himself is not sure why he has been "dropped", but the good news is that he is talking to several people about a drive for the rest of the year.

I think their original plan was to run the Pilbeam with an AER-Nissan in the FIASCC last year, but instead they opted to sit out and upgrade the car for this year.

According to Autosport, drivers for Monza may be Robin Liddell (think this was first suggested on DSC weeks ago) and Ben Devlin. Liddell is apparently testing for K2 at Donington today.

Well the LMES season sure is looking good. Can't wait for the first race at Monza.

Now I'm off to catch up on 5 weeks+ of posts! after my computer threw a wobbly.

I just looked at the latest LMES entry list...still no RfH car??? That's a bummer. Perhaps in securing that great driver lineup for Le Mans they had to make sacrifices?

One other question. I see two Zyteks entered, one by Creation and one by Zytek. What happened to the Zytek that ran FIA SCC last year? John Nielsen drove it and it had Den Bla Avis on the car.

The ex Nielsen car is now owned by Creation - And btw there are three Zytek's entered:

Creation's ex DBA plus 2 x 04 Zytek built chassis, one for Team Jota and the factory-run car.b

I love those cars. The best livery was for the the very first one (YGK)...

They may be the reason why Jan Lammers doesn't want to enter one of the Domes, though...
