Here is my son at the 2003 Tasmanian State Titles contesting second place in Rotax Heavy. The guy behind was the Victorian Champ.

This is a picture from a round of the Club100 City Challenge at Buckmore Park last August. I've just gone up the inside of No.24 on the way into the Garda hairpin--hence turning left on the exit rather than right!

Quite probably my favourite karting photograph - brings back all the memories Leading the field at Glan-y-Gors at the start of the 2nd lap of the Final, on my way to a comfortable victory... *sigh*

Meanwhile, the sheep look on...

Hey Andy M, I recognised that lid going round Rye House yesterday in the BUKC--you looked pretty smooth, what time did you manage?

The links above lead to pictures from my last race in the 2003 season.
The picture is taken at Genk (European and World championship track)

Gore - Yeah I did the BUKC round as a bit of practice for the C100 sprints next weekend. Not sure what my best time was, as I was racing for Swansea C (NP) my results dont appear in the list on the website. I think it was a mid 42, cant remember.

I was second in my race till about halfway when I couldnt avoid a spinner at the hairpin after stadium, finshed 14th in the end....oh well!

How did you get on?

Ah, the same plan as me--had a non-scoring drive for Bournemouth as practice for the City Challenge round at Rye next week.

I started last and wound up eighth, concentrated mainly on staying out of trouble--a lot of the drivers were all over the place, I'm not surprised you came across a spinner.

Did you meet the legendary Jesse Mason from Swansea? How on earth does he combine Infinti Pro with uni..?

Hi Oli - I'm waiting for you to contact me for a magazine article. I have time on my hands at the moment, at least for a few days anyway, so get a move on...

Yeh, they were blurry as it was only a standard Boots film in it, we'll get a faster one in next time as the film was in an expensive camera and the karts were too quick for it, even at the hairpin!

That was at Ellough

ahhh yes i see that now *its one my favorite tracks btw* i see that 3 of the pictures are just before the dodgy, chicane/wall corner, but the other picture, is that turn 1? the building in the background has lost me there

The 3rd picture is turn three just before the double apex hairpin, quite afast bend which starts at turn two and gets tighter. All the rest are at the hair-pin, just before the chicane/wall as you correctly pointed out. Yet more people found themselves victim of that chicane wall on Monday. Thankfully though, not me, i have visited it enough!
