James, allthough we were in junior gearbox last year, so our chassis differs slightly from yours, we never tried anything as radical as that. We also live only 15 mins from Warden Law, the site of HRS who were the main agents for Trulli, and there are a lot of locals on these and again I have never seen anyone run like that.
Have you checked that the chassis isn't bent and this justs compensates for that.
It just goes to show that what suits one may not be right for another.
Good luck for the comming season, we're off to Rowrah tomorrow for the 1st round of 'Stars'.

That is an Iridium visor, I guess it looks black, but you can tell it's iridium cus you can see the sky reflected in it.

I got the back spoiler yeah, a transparent one because I don't really like the look of them lol.

On short circuits I havn't noticed any difference at all, but on long circuits they stop your head from moving up and down slightly when you're doing above about 100mph..

Here are some links to photos of my daughter's karting. She run Junior SSX with the Badger Kart Club in Dousman, WI. This is her rookie season and she has 3 races under her belt so far. She is the black body work with #2 yellow number plate.

The other kart in some of the pictures is Zak Emmons, who is a multi track champion at Badger Kart Club in Jr. Can and HPV, and we hired him to work with Kristine. Now we need to work on racecraft instead of laptimes. She was taken out by a slower kart in the Feature race this past weekend on the first lap. At our track during the first three weekends rookies are sent to the back. Kristine's lap times would have put here in the middle of the field. She made a move on a slow kart and the other kid turned into her and she killed her kart ending the day.

100cc. We use Yamaha KT100's. Once you move up the ICC and ICA are becoming popular, but the costs are pretty high and our club lets ICC run in shifters and ICA is a non points expert class. A Yamaha that is blue printed is around $1100 new and our last rebuild was $400. At our club we have Yamaha KT100's with various cans and mufflers. The next most poplular is the HPV's followed by the Briggs Animals. Another new class that is catching on is TAG and finally the smallest is shifters. We tired 80cc for Juniors, but only one team came out so the class went away.

We do have them here Speedy, en Formula Yamaha. Infact maybe not, I'm not sure if the class still exists in the UK. It used to be pretty popular, they ran it in champs of the future & lewis hamilton (just to put a name forth) raced in it before he moved to JICA.

I tested one once, seemed ok at the time, but I remember everyone used to get so much clutch slip.

Cheyne, over here those KT100'S are ten a penny. I could honestly pick a handful of those up for under £100 each.

I don't follow what you say about ICC & shifters. ICC is a shifter class, so I don't see what you mean about ICC running w/shifters

Formula Yamaha in the UK went bust after the 2001 championship i think it was? The year Paul Di Resta won JICA. I saw them race in Champs

At the club level when I say shifter I mean moto based. ICC's are allowed to run at our club with the moto's, but the only ICC's we see are non club members getting track time. The norm is only 4 or 5 shifters at a event. HPV and Yamaha are the most popular. I have yet to see a ICA run, but a non club member may have run expert with one. I'm pretty sure that we don't see shifters due to the cost of running one at the local club level. At bigger WKA and Stars events they are popular.
