Don't know if it has already been mentioned, but in Autosports Le Mans supplement they say it is planned to broadcast RLM on Sky Digital next year. Presumably it would also be available on DAB digital radios in the UK!

She (Holly Samos) gained limited fame about five years ago as one of the sidekicks on the Chris Evans' show on BBC Radio One. Why she was on RLM is anyone's guess? If anything she encouraged more laddish behaviour from the usual broadcasters.

As an aside, both Ms Samos and veteran reporter Paul Frere were at the same resturant as our group on Friday evening, and I claimed the dubious honour of being the only person to know whom both of them were...

I might do as last year. Burn a few hours of it on to CD so that we can listen to it on the way down
We "lost" our radios on Friday after the drivers parade, so early on Saturday morning I rode pushbike to Carrefour to buy a couple of radios, only problem all the cheap ones had gone all that was left were MP3 players with radios built in! I thought long & hard about spending 200 euros on radios, but did in the end as the thought of missing their excellent coverage would've been to much to bear. I then found out they could record from the radio!! So I recorded the entire 24hours using the two 128Mb MP3 players, they can record 8 hours of audio each, complete with all the hissing as we walked around the circuit, bit rate is well low but well listenable. The best bit was we found our original radios after the race!! Now it's time to make one big file of it all & try & edit the 1800 or so pictures I took of the race

Well done to Radio Le Mans it just wouldn't be the same event without them

I really don't know why I checked this, as part of the joy of RLM is the encyclopaedic knowledge of the presenters, and she REALLY irritated me, but a brief summary of her career and a pic can be found here

I came back yeaterday with one of the RLM boys - The level of appreciation shown by all those who recognised him on the way was greatly appreciated I can tell you - The core team are great lads - My son was utterly delighted to get a call from Hindy during the race - This is the sort of team that understands how to build a fanbase - Haymarket take note - If it ain't broke don't fix it.

It's not exactly emailable, 350Mb as a wav file or 433Mb as an MP3 file, I always thought MP3's would be smaller so it would have to be a snail mail job. At the moment it's not been edited so there are a few minutes of overlap as I stopped & started the two MP3 players. I'm not sure how to personal message you so can you do the honors.
