Midland Reveal Colour Scheme
The Midland team has released details of its first colour scheme:
http://www.f1racing.net/en/news.php?newsID=103257 So it's silver red/orange and white. Definitely different to the Jordans but an improvement? Not so sure. |

No driver will be able to complain that they couldn't see the car whent hey came up to lap it.

It looks very similar to the BAR (now HONDA) in my opinion. It would have been nice to see something different on the grid, but I guess they're working the colour scheme to be as sponsor friendly as possible.

I like it, although not so individual as the old Jordan scheme

There'll be at least 4 red or reddish cars on the grid next year.
Not sure how a red car is going to fit in with Midland's blue logo. Speaking of which, I'm not a big fan of their F1 logo either. |

Um, eurghh....
That's far too cluttered a livery, and makes it look like some 'special' slot racing car! Red and balck would be good or Red and Silver (bit like early '91 Brabham perhaps?) - too many colours don't do sponsors of entrants any favours as it doesn't higlight names enough imo.. |

I like it, but as with anything new I expect it'll be met with negativity on the forum

Apparently the team will be known as MF1.

I think that's just the logo - after all the website is MidlandF1.com
I assume it'll be called "Midland" |

I think the Jordan Livery was better and was easily identified. The Midland one is a bit difficult to recognise on tv

its odd there just showing a plan view. Depending on the lines on the side of the tub, this might not be as cluttered as you first might think. Even then, I'm sure it will change before March

We don't see much on the little sketch shown on the link. My 6 years old son draws more detailed and nicer liveries. It indeed looks pretty much like a BAR and, subject to seeing the actual car, is likely to be confusing with the expected liveries of Toyota and BMW.

Doesn't look like a particularly interesting livery, but with the addition of a few sponsors I guess it'll look better. Unless they just intend to write 'MIDLAND' across the sidepods a la Prost in 2001... Im more interested to see what the Squadra Toro Rosso cars will look like, as they will have to make them look sufficiently different from the existing Red Bull cars. |

I think the livery is alright. I don't think it can be properly judged until the car is seen on track, but I like it.

The stylized "M" looks kinda cool. It will nice to see it on the car. The picture (that I've seen so far) looks weak but I'd bet it'll look better "live".

They probably arrive in a flat pack, with some dodgy instructions, an allan key that doesn't fit properly and 3 critical pieces missing.

Perhaps we'll never see them race, because the cars won't be built in time.

They will all be leaning against Aguri's dining room wall, partially constructed until the Missus brings in a joiner to finish them off.

Yes, he's cutting out the middle(wo)man and getting the joiner in directly.
