steve nielsen should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Tom Walkinshaw has to act now, this is the limit!!!!!!!!!!!

First after the start, Jos wanted to come in to change his front wing, you could hear Jos his race engineer say:"drive to the grid, there's a red flag" and so Jos did'nt come in when the pace car was out, it lost him a lot of time.

Second it's that *********** stupid gearbox, I could'nt believe it, both cars out with a broken gearbox again!!
the dutch commentator Olav Mol said it right: Jos and Pedro should go to Tom Walkinshaw now and demand a better gearbox, there was a real chance to score for both cars today and Jos and Pedro were stopped by their own team.
and some comment from my side: If this happens again in the next few races Tom Walkinshaw is a stupid *******!!.

Whoah there! Calm down! Granted, as a closet Arrows fan myself, today was an enourmous frustration. However, don't just take it out on TW. Keep it real: since last year Arrows have been THE most progressed team. This time last year they were propping up the grid. Now they're in 3rd place lapping within .3 to .5 of a sec of the McLarens on a one-stopper load. They have two talented drivers who should actually be shaking TW's hand as to what a wonderful job that team has done. All this with a supertec, not the greatest engine in the world. Next year with reliability sorted they should be up there with Jordan, Williams et al on a permanent basis. Well done!

The comment was made during the commentary on Speedvision in the States that TWR had inked a deal for the Peugeot engines for next season, prompting some wag to say, "Well, thats the end of Arrows."

Oh, so THAT'S where the rumour came from!! If Peugeot are willing to inject real finace and interest into the project than it's a good thing. However, they havn't been willing to do that with Prost, so who's to say that situation is going to change. The Arrows does deserve a better works engine though.....

Tom always has so much to say when his drivers make a mistake(Brazil), but when the rest of the team makes mistakes he does'nt say anything, that's also got to change, he's responsible for hyring the technicians and for the amount of testing, since the beginning of the season Arrows only once tested with 2 cars, and that was just for one day, so they got to get more endurence testing done and get better gearbox technicians.

With Renault returning, and the whole matter of French pride at stake, this may be just the impetus that Peugeot need to build a proper engine. Combined with a great car (assuming that development of the current car continues) and two talented drivers, we may finally see Arrows get the results that they have been showing glimpses of achieving since Patrese led the South African Grand Prix in 1978!!

Where did the Peugeot/Arrows thing come from???

As far as I know Peugeot will either buy-out Prost or supply Minardi as ATMs. Arrows have first-option on Supertecs for 2001.
