Fisichella Signs 3 year deal w/ Jordan!!!!

News just in, Fisi has signed with Jordan for next season almost certifying that Trulli will be at Benetton.
I think its a good move for Fisichella, but I would have liked to have seen him in the McLaren seat.

I think Fisi made the good move as Renault won't be competitive next year

Lets hope Jordan keeps Trulli.

Alesi has had his time in F1 and failed to hit the target by miles. Jean, go now while you can.

I think your being a bit hard on poor Jean. He just has an uncanny ability to join teams who are an a downward spiral. I would like to see him finish the season well and maybe stay on as a test driver.

As for Jordan going all Italian, love to see it but will probably not happen. I can see Sato in the line-up next year, just to keep Honda happy(Thats the main thing!!)

Things aren't looking very good for Jordan lately but obviously he doesn't see much of a future for Bennetton (How long are they going to give this new engine?)
It will be nice to see Fisi back in the top 10 where he belongs

Wow!! This actually DOES suprise me! I honestly thought that Trulli would stay alongside Alesi....

Still, I like Fischi as I think his carreer seemed to be going the same way as Alesi's was.

It's a pure swap, according to Autosport. Trulli goes to Renault.

Frankly, I think Eddie is exchanging 40 for 2 of 20, nothing will be added to the team...

A fine Italian team at Jordan and what of Mr. Button? Can he and Trulli get along? Will they exchange Black Books?

Will either of them ever finish another race?

Stay tuned ... it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

I wish Fisichella the best. I hope this was the right move for him. Jordan seem to be going downward, and Renault seem to be moving up. I hope this doesnt turn out to be a regretable move. In my opinion, Fisichella is one of the top 4-5 currently driving. He has shown some brilliance the last couple of years, but has been stuck with a struggling team. Good Luck...

Hmmm..... just had a thought: Fischi's cursed. Every team he drives for (well, Benetton anyway!!) goes through a mediocre patch when he's there. Renault will be on the pace and, well, tough luck EJ!!

Although it's great that Fisichella well finally get away from the stagnant atmosphere of Benetton (or Renault), it's a shame that he's wasted another year in this years car, and won't reap the benefits if it suddenly comes good next year (which I seriously doubt anyway).

However, Jordan are going nowhere and not particularly fast at the moment anyway. It appears Fisi may never break out from mediocrity.
