FF1600 Dates 2005

Thought I'd split this one off into a new thread.

No, I don't have any championship dates yet - not even provisional ones - but there is some discussion that the NW championship will have only four rounds at Oulton Park in 2005. There is apparently going to be a separate Moose Trophy/KoK race at a fifth meeting - something which will, I think go down well as NW drivers were aggrieved at not having a KoK round on their home patch.

So, views on that?

My view is that you've got the wrong year in the thread title!!!! I assume you meant 2005, not 2004.
Pity you ain't a Mod any longer, so you can't fix it.

Good news for you then Alan.
As a semi retired race driving competitor you'll be walking familiar ground when you are looking for your ball in the rough. Just follow your old tyre tracks.

1. Very nasty Snowman. You stop picking on Potter just because he is about the same size as you.
2. Steve, I hope the esteemed Regional Representative for the NW Championship [and master race meeting organiser - allegedly] gets a bit of a head start on Ian S

Are you sure you don't really need them?
If the rumour mill is to be believed * , Mackie Motorsport could be considering 'stepping up' to FF1600 in 2005. You could then steal a march on the opposition by having access to the calendar before the opposition.

We might step up to URS Classic because we are restoring a PRS RH01 for someone at the moment, but as he has only ever done hillclimbs in a Porsche and has very little time to test and only plans to start racing by mid season, I dont think we will be getting an advantage over anyone.
