Who's Going To Long Beach?
Wooooo Hoooooo !!!!!! A client calls and I just have to go to L.A. on Friday (arm twisting wildly).
"Oh shucks" I say, "There just happens to be a Champ Car race in the vicinity. Can I go honey, please can I go?" "Why not?" she says, "Will you take our son so I don't have to listen to how unfair it is that you are a the race without him?" "Right on!" I say as I dial my other son who lives in Santa Monica. "Hi, your Dad and brother need a place to crash for the weekend. You interested in putting us up and going to the Grand Prix?" We're all set. So who else is going? Let's make it a real party!

I am leaving in a couple of hours from Seattle. I have a full schedule as I entertain customers at the grand prix. I will be there at qualifying on Satuday, I will send a PM with my cell Flatspot and possibly we can get a beer or other drink and talk about the new season. We are sitting in Grandstand 31, Section 2, Row 1 at the top. This is where we have sat for the last six years.

There are several Tenthers marshalling the event, including members from US, Canada & Uk.
Just look for the badges on our whites. |

OK for those familiar with the current layout. Which grandstand is the best. My guess is 31 but it has been awhile since I've made LB.

It was pretty nice to receive your phone call on Friday (and of two other Ten Tenthers during the weekend!) about meeting at Long Beach, but I was (and I still am) away from LA visiting my main client. This year has been very busy and it looks like this season I am going to reach an all-time low regarding number of Champ Car races attended per year...  I hope to be back to LA on Tuesday, I will call you then. All the best, Muzza P.S.: I just watched the tape of the race. Pretty good. In all aspects, Champ Car 2005 is a step above last year. |
