This is old news but in case some of you haven't heard, Kyle Petty has stepped down as driver from his Hot Wheels sponsored #44 car to race the remainder of the year in his son Adam's Sprint sponsored #45 Busch Grand National car. Kyle will then move up with the team to Winston Cup next year like his son would have, to carry on his son's dream. Kyle said driving Adam's car, sitting in his transporter and wearing Adam's number have brought him peace. He said that it has helped the healing process.
I personally think this is a fabulous idea and I hope that he is able to find victory lane in the near future. |
