If they have the same people doing their PR as did the HSV "Most Exciting Thing In 20 Years" announcement, then it will probably be something momentous like TC has bought a new pair of socks, or something else really major and significant like that

I thought it was interesting that the bit in MeNews about this announcement didn't make any suggestions about what they thought it might be - which leads me to suspect that they know, but agreed not to tell. Normally there would be something from the rumour mill (do they hang out in the Powder Room with GTRMagic?) with an announcement like that.

Could it be that TC and Co will merge with NZV8's and for the new Australasian V8 Supercar Category. The category will be split into three:

Level 1. Teams

Level 2 Enduro drivers and cashed up privateers

Level 3 Two year old models and previous - Privateers Cup

Actually I don't think you are that far off the mark, but the Powder Room tells me that Ben Cousins will take up the mantle left by Marcos Ambrose and will fill Russell Ingall's spot.

As a matter of fact, sources close to me (the powder room) tells me that Ben is actually in the US now to get all Marcos's tips so that he can just step straight into the car in '08. Hence the dropping of charges yesterday by the WA Police, TC rang them and told them to pull their heads in as no-one, and I mean no-one can interfer in V8Supercars.

The new theme for '08 and onwards is "Such is Life". TC and Paul Morris were seen down in the Valley at the weekend getting exactly the same tattoo's.

The official announcement only came out this morning, followed shortly afterwards by the announcement the KISS will be performing the the GP.

It may not be the "BIG" announcement, I hope it isn't after the build up it's been getting here.
