Why are there no pictures? Have all the journalists been shot? Is there internet in Russia? Has Putin decided Midland owe $65 billion in back taxes and the launch has been cancelled?

Its probably because given the choice between a VERY cold Russia and the somewhat warmer offer made by Ferrari, I know where I would be.

Nice to see they at least have a few sponsors... which driver brought Superfund on board?

Very yellow.

Is that the carbon tub I can hear straining under the sponsors stickers?

No - it was Pastorelli who brought Superfund - as he won their Euro 3000 series.

It's a pity they didn't even have a token gesture of a livery on the car, it looks totally uninspiring - flat paintwork and a few stickers.

The thing is, that car looks like a 2003 EJ13 with the 2005 rear wing... It does not have the sidepod wings and the airbox is decidedly too small. Was it too expensive to bring a new car to Russia?

I agree!

What a sad looking race car that is! A flat yellow car (did they forget to bring wax with them!?)with no livery, on a cold, damp looking Moscow square. I've seen better looking race cars at a childrens amusement park! Goodness, could it get any worse for this team?

This is going to be a sad, sad, year for Eddie I'm afraid...

So far i've been reluctant to joke too much about a russian team because it may be abit too un-PC.
I won't be able to help myself sometimes though-a russian team has SOOO many oportunities for a cynical joke or two
