I notice the top 4 cars are all running out of the workshops of main game competitors. Maybe the previous years data has come in handy.

Pretty good top 10 there. I would say most of those would do well in the top class if they had a drive. Ambrose's tip that Zukanovic would be worth watching may be spot on.

Kurt Wimmer has been impressive this weekend, certainly improving in each session to be quicker than his more highly rated teammate Michael Caruso.
This was a measured improvement, the driver being more confident in the car, and in the circuit, and how the car reacted to the circuit rather than someone running beyond the limit of the car. Maturity I believe that is called. Sadly though, there will be some big repair bills in one camp tonight... seems Mr Wimmer had an accident that saw the car nose into the wall at turn 12, and bounce backwards into the wall. A car Wimmer had been following for some laps went slightly offline at that part of the circuit, and puffed in a big way what was believed to be oil or tyre smoke. The HYL driver went wider than his usual line there onto the garbage at the circuit edge, and had a tank slapper than had some unfortunate consequences. Kurt is ok, but is obviously beating himself up over the accident which did not come as a result of overexuberance, or rush of blood. The car... well it is said to have seen better days |

Maybe we need an AFL player to drive one?
Still think its good for the sport to be on the covers 2 days in a row over here |
