Aaroon Noonan..Credit where credit is due
Congratulations to Aaron for a great job at the 500 this weekend as Barry Olivers right hand man.
I have been critical of Aaron in the past and am happy to "eat my words" after hearing the new and improved Aaron over the weekend. Many of the media and spectators alike made comment about the fine job being done by the Dynamic Duo. I "dips me lid to ya mate" and am always happy to give credit where credit is due. Working under that pressure is not as easy as it may seem to others outside the commentary box. Can't wait for Eastern Creek... |

yes I have to agree
I watched the 10 coverage on saturday night after the race and wondered if it was the same race Ch10 was very slow at working out Morris (9 sec )was in the lead followed by Luff(6 sec) as far as 10 told us that Morris had done this just before tha pace car Noons had informed this as soon as Ambrose had done his fuel stop a good 20 mins before the 10 team also nothibg about the dummy spit by the Stones to Avesco about the speed cameras the coverage on the less budgeted teams was great Richards did a fantastic job with no swaybars we knew where Baird and Wills placed. they were right on the ball when someone was slowing or had expired. and why. I haven't watched Sundays yet. but A mate rang me and told me about the dodgy driving by one of the drivers I agreed with him and went on to say about Bowe with his bad sportsman flags blocking kurb hopping and eventual ramming of the Rat when he got past only for my mate not to know what I was on about, but to say about the Dumbrell incident which from what I saw and heard looked much like a racing incident I have to watch the Sundays race and see how it was glossed over also Peter Sellen did a fine job I believe he did it with Barry on Sunday? Is this the same Peter Sellen from the telly news fame? if so he amazed me with his knowledge I noticed i didn't hear Anne (Winslow ??) this year which was a pitty Maybe Barry, Noons and Peter could take over from the 10 team |

Unfortunately, only having the "benefit" of the 10 telecast, (plus bigpond) I missed this.
Maybe they could use the on course commentry for the Bigpond feed, rather than the 10 stuff (and no commentry during the ad breaks). |

Was this the bloke who kept saying to Oliver 'what would be going through their minds now' ?
Whoever it was, it sounded like a person who didn't know much about racing and was a an annoyance in my view. |

Conrod kieron, that was one of the guys from FM tv the host network.
Noons has interviewed enough drivers to know what they would be thinking. I'm sorry I didnt catch saturdays efforts i was "too busy" with the"Busy girls" and the press and the several thousand punters who wanted photo's |
