Nothing personal here, Nicko, but where are Vodafone? Is Makita replacing them or is this the NZ V8 Touring Car livery you refer to?
It looks bloody sharp actually. Well Done! |

thanks. Ive spent about 60+ hours on this project, and done over 30 pages of drawings. Im studying graphic design at Auckland University of Technology and thought Team Kiwi needed a better looking car.
Im worried that David Johns might think that there is to much red so ive just done these drawings tonight. Last edited by nicko; 21 Feb 2004 at 09:04. |

I thought TKR wanted to see the silver fern attached to the car in a big way in 2004? Or have commercial realities changed that concept?

I have no idea what team kiwi wants. These are just my designs which i have just sent to team kiwi. So its wait and see for me. My personal opinion is that the silver fern is "been there done that" sort of design, thats why ive done a stylised kiwi shape on the side of the car

One would think that TKR would want to keep the Silver Fern concept as it is theirs, rather than allow another team to pinch it, copy it, or get close to it, as seems to have been done a ride day car kicking around in NZ...

Nicko the designs are good....
Is Makita the new title sponsor, or are you assuming that? I got the impression Hydraulink will be there somewhere.... |

Wow! Can you add a small Silverfern to the bonnet each side of the Vodafone signage??

Team Tasman is trying to use a blue & orange fern... is that the same thing?

Check out the Murf NZ Ride Day Car and you will see the similarity.
Murf used to have a silhoutted Kiwi bird shape with his F4000 car tearing up the beak. It looked great! |

Marty, have Makita ramped up or should Vodafone be the more prominent?
The car certainly looks bloody great, as I am sure you agree! Does the Porter car look like the TKR car or is it Hydraulink dominant? |

Just Do It. I saw a pic of the TKR/Hydraulink car on the V8 site. Same sort of design as last year but looks even worse

Just Do It, Makita are on the car skirts.
The Porter car is an evolution of the Hydralink livery. The TKR livery is not like the Hydralink livery. |

No worries jjd, we are running the car and don't want to take valuable sponsor positions.

Not a bad looking paint job there nicko. Here is hoping to see more of whatever paint scheme TKR have this year, near the front of the pack I may add.
