A resurrected Prost team??
Hey, perhaps I missed the boat (or should I say F1 car!!)
 , but I don't recall anyone mentioning about the efforts by some ex-Prost members and some financial(??)organization to run a pair of '99 spec F1 car? They supposedly showed up at the Malaysian Grand Prix?? I read it in Autosport? But the FIA was against it saying it did not meet FIA regs?

You certainly missed the boat by a few nautical miles kmchow
 Hopefully they'll get the right to race by next year. It'll be better as they will be more prepared and organised. I think the FIA has made the right decision of not allowing them to race this season.

Wow, this is a pretty cool thread. Part F1 intrigue (entry rules and future entries) and part farce (the frankenstein nature of the Phoenix cars).
I guess the FIA (or is it Bernie??) wants a "close" race with the 107% qualifying rule? 'Cause if the series is limited to 24 cars, why does qualifying in the 107% bracket matter? |
