Entry list for the Aston Martin race is out too on DSC, and among everybody that's in there... guess who's popped up in a GT4 Vantage.

That might be part of the appeal for quite a few of the guest entries.


Also good to see Zak Brown of United Autosports in the Group C race. He's clearly stated he wants to compete in the full 24 next year and this will bring him one step closer IMO.

This is from a man who spent the last week defending fins and holes and other fugly band aids of the LMPs. It was quite confusing, but after the comment above it's all clear to me now! A race fan who's not impressed by 30 Astons doing laps around la Sarthe must be blind and deaf! Apologies for arguing before, I was unaware of your condition.

Were you there? Nice cars - beautiful cars even - but many being trundled around. Even the most gorgeous machines are going to become dull when they're doing little more than a demonstration. Some of them were running fast, but there were a lot of mobile chicanes. This isn't anything to do with aesthetics at all - it's to do with performing on the track. The sportscars may be ugly (in your opinion - which is far from universally shared) but at least they're all 'on it'. Neither blind nor deaf here - nor indeed supremely opinionated......I just call it as I see it
