I think its just a symbol of a lost marketing opportunity for SBR than any problem with getting the timing wrong...

I agree with you pete... indeed there were a cast of dozens on here on New Year's night too... so the opportunity would be quite clever to have had a launch on NYE then leave the car somewhere prominent (Darling Harbour perhaps?) for the next day when so many people will be around

The next opportunity, although not likely as good, is the Australia Day long weekend....
