From the sound of it, there's going to be a LOT of folk working over the weekend!

I count myself a very lucky boy to be working too...

CarolK should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
It's hard to believe this is the last race of the short LMS season, seems like Barcelona was just yesterday. Friends from Glasgow are picking us up at BHX Saturday am and it's off to Silverstone for another fantastic racing weekend. At least the latest from weather.com for the Brimingham area has rain showers replaced by possible fog early Saturday (hoping for no flight delays from AMS to BHX) and a high of 60'ish for Saturday and Sunday (most welcome from 90+ here). This race will be an introduction to our friends from Scotland to something other than F1, they are very much looking forward to it. . . hoping they'll come to more next year. This looks like a good weekend to be "evacuating" from the central Texas area with Ike to make landfall Saturday.

Best of luck to those drivers who frequent this forum and this thread!

Jake? WHO has accreditation? With their antediluvian kit?

And who's got a 'paddock' pass?

Take a chill pill, and think of the money?

hope no-one on here's been affected by the channel tunnel incident.

I have one spare weekend ticket: if anyone wants it it's yours for £8 (half what I paid for two) and you can collect it from me any time on Saturday or Sunday. Send me a text or ring on (Zero, Seven, 763786415) and if you don't hear back from me presume it's already gone.

Sorry for the shameless plug. If that's not allowed mods, please edit to say it's free.

Setting off now, see you there.

I rang up on Monday to try and get a paddock pass, but they said they weren't selling them anymore, as well as tickets.

Oh and I already have my tickets, the paddock pass was an after thought.

Unless the ACO are going all FIA on us then you should be able to get to the back of the garages ok? Never heard of them requiring paddock passes in the past only at Le Mans!

Oh BTW have fun everyone! I wont be there as its my daughters 4th birthday on sunday so I'll be watching what coverage there is on Eurosport.

Thanks - last I checked weather.com for Birmingham, showing was fog early tomorrow re: posts about paddock tickets, I inquired about the normal 25€ pit walk tickets we've purchased for othe LMS races, Silverstone said no such thing, then there's posts about free pit walk, our friends bought the tickets and also purchased some other pass - we'll find out tomorrow morning what we really have !

Will go check out sites to see what's going on at Silverstone right now. In 1.5 hour for us here, practice from Monza will be on Speed TV. Out of here at 1500 today to AMS.

I suspect Silvo has gone all ACO, the white overalls rule seems to be in force this year too for the pits
