Confusion

I love racing so much that I could not even describe it but I have one problem and that is that everytime I watch racing I see that it is in Europe or either the UK but for someone who does not have enough money to travel there from the U.S. it is hard. I want to get some recognition and start but I have no idea where to start and what to do to begin, Is there anyone here that could give me some advice where I could begin? I would really appreciate the help anyone could give me. Thanks

Starting Racing

I would start kart racing, as it is the least expensive and best way to get the feel of things and decide if racing is something you want to pursue.

The other way to get started is to go to a school like Barber or Panoz. You can learn the basics about driving as well as gauge if you even want to go further.

Then decide what your goals are.

Learn all you can about how sponsorship deals really work.
It is much different than most people think.

Do the above and then maybe you can worry about trying to race in Europe.
