70s/80s BBS gold paint code

Hello all,

I am hoping that someone will be able to guide me. I am building a Group 2 BMW E21 replica, and need to refurbish my 3 piece BBS wheels. I need to paint the centres the correct BBS gold colour but have been unable to find a paint code that could be reproduced here in New Zealand.

Most forums list the code for later Subaru-style gold, but I don't believe it is the same as the BBS Cross-spoke centres from the Group 5/Group 2 and Group A era.

I've tried contacting a range of folks, from BBS themselves, to race car restorers, paint companies, and forums. All without luck.

Does anyone out there have any insights please.

Thank you kindly in advance.
