Well, so true. In principle. Knowing that its not Paddington country you've better prepare yourself to have some suprises.
I'm curious to see the effects of the arrangement Peugeot got a while ago for the "new" car tho. Are the other competitors fully aware is another question. |

There are some questions on how much you're allowed to change after the car is homologated (which the Peugeot is) and if they're being allowed to change more than you'd normally be allowed, because the car is struggling so much.

The change of the rear body geometry, including a rear wing and diffuser. They are basically abandoning the wingless design for a conventional one.

Maybe so. They did go back on what they said. Although I’d attribute that to bad management rather than a lack of transparency.
I also think the more important change there were the tyre warmers. |

The BOP change before Le Mans increasing Ferrari's chances of victory, but after Le Mans, the ACO liquidated the Ferraris so that Toyota could easily win the championship.

Nah, that's just personal opinion. Always remember, the original deal was to use BoP to balance between the two builds (LMH & LMDh) than the manufacturers involved. It's the center to the "convergence" between the three parties.

No, it was always both.
Before Le Mans they said they would, at that specific point in time, only use it to balance LMDh and Hypercar specifically. Which made sense. Overall it is for both and was fine to use within platforms, but they had said they weren’t going to. It’s not what they did as such that was the problem, but that they went against what they’d said before. |

That’s relative to the previously published Bahrain BoP and on top of the changes that were coming after Fuji.
Both those cars lose 1MJ in a stint. Could be because they are lighter. |

Max speed at Bahrein should be 250/280 kph with corners below 130 kph. With lap times below 2' strategy and traffic management will be important. Lets hope for dry weather… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x59CiGIGyo8 (till the end…).

With some tow 290+ Also with this BOP I think Porsche can't complain, they have a good weight offset for tyre wear and they're in the higher power category, same as Toyota. Cadillac and Ferrari should be struggling less compared to Fuji, Peugeot will be strong. Those are my expectations
