Moving from LMP3 to LMP2
Looks like lmp3 teams are getting the chance to."move on up" to lmp2, with help from Doornan.

Not sure there is any assistance on offer. It sounds more like the usual advancement of teams as drivers get more experience and want more of a challenge. And being kicked out of the main show to the VP Challenge helps too, and the LMP2 extension giving them a future. Some of those drivers could be lost to ELMS/AsLMS if LMP2 was not continued as well
